The Phoenix Lights

On March 13, 1997, thousands of people reported seeing a series of optical phenomena occurring in the skies of Arizona, Nevada and Sonora, Mexico. Frequently described as a series of stationary lights, a likely explanation is they were flares dropped by aircraft on a military training exercise over the Barry Goldwater Range in southwest Arizona. Many witnesses, however, believe they observed something extraterrestrial.

Amazingly, on almost any given night, I can look toward the western horizon and see a similar row of bright nearly vertical lights.

Sorry to disappoint the ufologists out there but these are simply airplanes lining up to land at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport.

I have encountered extraterrestrial life at the abandoned building (formerly Neal Frisby’s Capstone Cathedral) at the southwest corner of the intersection of Tatum and Shea Boulevards in Phoenix.
